Wanna know where I've been lately and why my blog posts are so few and far between.
This is where I've been....
On my porch!!
Reclining in my outdoor Lazy Boy recliners (purchased at KMart)!
Planting new flowers, like my pink Lillies, in my border and moving others around, like my Day Lillies and my now dormant Daffodil.
Threading a bazillion straight pins in my little Better Homes and Gardens flag from Walmart.
Yes, that's what I said, no need to reread. LOL Someone thought it was cute to steal my spring flag. So, I thought grabbing my flag at night, full of straight pins would be fun too! Yes I am crazy like that. LOL Don't steal from me and no one gets hurt. ;)

Basically, I've been busy taking my home from looking like this when I bought it 2 years ago...
To this last summer....
To this so far this spring....
Basicallly...I've been busy people. :)
I've been taking this border which would never stay in place....
And have been putting in a paver border instead.
So, that's where I've been.
I hope you understand.
After a long, hot day, working in the sun...my porch calls to me to come sit and relax. :)
Pretty much, this sleeping face says it all. :)
Until next time,
Erin
What a wonderful change, you should be very proud and happy! I love the red door, it adds just the perfect accent...the trim on my house is red too so maybe I am a bit partial. Enjoy your well earned bit of relaxation.
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you one little bit; it looks so cozy. Great updates girl.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite days are spent lounging outside, and puttering in the garden! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYour house is looking beautiful and the front porch is so inviting!!! Love the pin idea will teach them to take it. Made me giggle reading it thinking oh my that is something I would have done!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful porch! I like the pavers as well. You definitely have been busy but you have a very pretty place to show for it. LOL on the pins :)
ReplyDeletewhat a sweetie pie pup! Great progress on the front yard flowerbeds ~ yes I know what you mean about investing time in the landscape. But yours looks wonderful so it's definitely time well spent!
ReplyDeleteWell you've certainly been a busy girl! I love the porch.. and all the other updates. Very clever with the pins. If nothing else your gonna hear some yelping and maybe a scream or two the next time someone lays a hand on your flag.. LOL!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh, i love those recliners and those ferns! what a fabulous space you've made, i'd be out there, too. i had to laugh about the straight pins-we always talk about doing something like that to discourage anyone walking away with any more of my items. ignorant and selfish people really piss me off.
ReplyDeleteLove those pavers. You have been working hard. Love the chairs too. Great way to relax outside after a hard days work. Great job.
ReplyDeleteSUUU-WEET! Lookin' good my friend, lookin' good! And that sleepy little pug face is the perfect final photo! :o)
ReplyDeleteMany Blessings,
M.
Things look so much neater.
